Svetlana Turubanova Research Associate sveta@umd.edu Svetlana received her Ph.D. from the Russian Academy of Science in 2002 with specialization in ecology. Her research interests include boreal forest ecology, forest fire, and biodiversity. She has recently been involved in several projects on mapping forest cover change at global and national levels.
