This is a collaborative project with the National Commission of the Knowledge and Use of Biodiversity (COMISIÓN NACIONAL PARA EL CONOCIMIENTO Y USO DE LA BIODIVERSIDAD) of Mexico. They will complete data classification on images from 1999 – 2010 for the entire Mexican territory. Processing will be completed using current processing used by Matt Hansen & his associates at the University of Maryland.  Classified results will be used to create a REDD+ baseline relevant to land cover and vegetation density during the specified time frame.
